With the strong winds this week I would say it is definately worth a shot if you have a few worms or crabs in the fridge !

NEWTON SHORE
Managed a wee session at the Newton shore last night with Jamie .... fished near the old swing park with the tide dropping to low and the first of the flood. Plenty small fish still showing ... Cod, Whiting, Coallies and a flounder ...... biggest maybe 3/4lb. Although not huge it is good to see numbers of fish around. The sea had a bit of a chop but not enough to make the difference. Here is a pic of a double of small Whiting ..... looks like an edible crab has enjoyed a chop at one of them !!
