Loch Etive Club match 24th
Attendance was down a little for the Etive match but the 7 anglers particpating had super weather in comparison to the normal Etive shore match conditions of our previous two visits.
The fishing was a bit up and down with only 1 small Spur Caught but a couple of decent Thornies made an appearance with John taking a 6.3 fish and Stevie one of 5.13, not the worst shore match we've had.
In joint 1st position with 230 points Jamie 7 fish / John 4 fish
2nd Stevie 205 points 4 fish
3rd Martin 179 points 6 fish
4th Shane 102 points 2 fish
5th Ian 44 points 1 fish
6th Malcolm 26 points 1 fish

Annual Prize Giving
A good night was had by all at the annual prize giving held this year at Somerset Park. Over 50 people attended in what turned out to be an ideal venue. After the formalities were dealt with there was the usual launch of change at the whisky bottle, some dancing and a few classic karaoke moments. It also seems that some people have a bad raffle habit which is great for club funds...
As you can see the Kilmarnock contingent were happy to have been caught on camera with a signed Ayr Utd top in the vicinity. There was some chat about a telephone bid from the Rugby Park, a taxi and some firelighters.
